A look inside

The big picture.
The little things, too.

A place for the next thing to do, the steps that get you there, and the thoughts worth keeping.

01 / A clear next step

Start with one thing.

Keep your next task in view. Click or tap the card to open its notes and checklists. Mark it done when you’re ready.

02 / Room for the details

Keep the pieces together.

Add several named checklists to a task. Keep notes, files and the context you need close to the work they belong to.

03 / A way back

Find it when you need it.

Search your tasks and checklist steps, switch between work and personal, and save the task views you return to.

On a train. In the garden. Wherever.

Your plans don’t
need a signal.

Sign in with Google while you’re online. After that, the Windows and Android apps keep your saved tasks, notes and checklists available without waiting for the website to load.

Keep it simple

A place to start.
A little space to think.

Start small. There’s no need to organize your whole life before you write down the first task.

1.

Put it into words.

Type a task or save a note. Give it a home in work or personal.

2.

Make it manageable.

Open the card. Add the next steps, a due date or a checklist for each part.

3.

Come back with a clear head.

Pick up where you left off. Your notes, progress and finished tasks are there when you need them.

Good to know

A few small
questions.

Do I need a Google account to start?

Yes. Connect to the internet and sign in with Google before using Clearing for the first time. After signing in, you can keep working with saved tasks, notes and checklists offline. Google and organization permissions still apply to connected services.

How do my devices stay in sync?

Connect the same Google account or existing Clearing sync pairing on each device. Changes sync while the app is open and connected. Reopening, reconnecting or using Sync now checks for the latest changes; a closed app does not keep syncing in the background.

Can I use Clearing offline?

Yes, after your initial Google sign-in. Your saved tasks, notes and checklists remain available, and edits sync when Clearing is open and connected again. For the web app, wait for Offline ready before disconnecting.

Will updating keep my tasks?

Install the new version over the existing app without uninstalling it or clearing its storage. Your saved data stays on the device. Backups can be exported in Settings, and are useful alongside sync.

A little less to carry.
A little more room for your day.

Start with one task. Go from there.
